This locking tab washer is designed specifically for securing the mounting hardware for the rear wheel pulley or sprocket on Big Twin and Sportster, as well as Buell. Tabs are made in the USA out of stainless steel and have a tumbled finish. Installation is quick and easy: clean your hardware and threads, use red loctite and torque to factory specifications, with this washer in place under the bolt heads. Bend the tabs up to engage the head of each bolt. This is a physical lock to ensure that the mounting bolts cannot back out and loosen up on you. We recommend replacing the washer after it has been used to ensure the tabs do not break off from repeated bending.
